Step into the heart of the forest and unleash your inner craftsman with The Woodland Guild, a two-day bushcraft adventure held on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of each month. Designed for individuals and families aged 12+ (14+ recommended), this hands-on experience immerses you in the beauty of nature while guiding you through an extraordinary project: This month building a bushcraft waterwheel.
From 10 am to 3:30 pm each day, you’ll join expert instructors and a community of like-minded adventurers to learn, create, and connect. On the 1st Saturday, you’ll focus on mastering key skills and techniques, gaining hands-on experience with the tools and methods needed for the project. In the afternoon, you’ll begin bringing your ideas to life as you start work on the group project. On the 2nd Saturday, you will be continuing with the project and developing advanced skills as you go. By the end of the course, you will have learnt how to use your skills and knowledge to design and build a unique and functioning bushcraft item using only hand tools.
At lunchtime either refuel with our signature wood-fired pizzas, fresh from the cob oven (only £5 each, pre-order), or bring something from home. With time to learn, connect, and share stories, The Woodland Guild is more than just a course – it’s a celebration of craftsmanship, community, and the joy of the outdoors.
