OUR RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS
COVID-19 SECURE VENUE
- We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work here
- We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with the guidance
- We have taken all measures to maintain a 1m distance. Due to being outside and with handwashing facilities in place, we are able to operate with a 1m social distancing, rather than 2m.
- Where people cannot be 1m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk.
ATTENDING EVENTS
TRIBE events will continue to be run during the post-lockdown period (after 04/07/20), however there are a few changes to be aware of:
- You will need to complete a COVID-19 Declaration; this is currently included as part of the 'TRIBE Consent Form' and needs completing prior to attending the event.
- Do not attend TRIBE events if you are showing COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with a confirmed covid case. Contact-Us to arrange a refund.
- Our under-18s / child events are exempt from the "rule of 6", however we have limited them to 15 participants (with the exemption of school groups).
- On our adult and family events, please remain socially distanced from other groups - we cannot have mingling in groups larger than 6, although up to 30 people are allowed to attend our educational courses and activities. Bookings are limited to 6 tickets per order.
- Please wash or sanitise your hands regularly, either using our provided facilities or your own hand-gel. Key times include before & after using the toilets, before accessing the refreshments, and before & after handling tools.
- If you have a face mask, please bring one in-case close support or first aid is required. It is not necessary to wear these during the event.
ON-SITE FACILITIES
The TRIBE Bushcraft Centre is set up with everyone’s safety in mind. The events take place outside with log seating that can accommodate up to 36 adults; during this time, we can comfortably sit 18 adults whilst maintaining at least 1m of social/ physical distancing.
Hand Sanitisers are available within the camp, however we recommend bringing your own so it is available to you when needed.
Although we are completely off grid, there is a hand washing station available for use next to our eco compost loos. We use biodegradable anti-bacterial soap with running water by means of a foot pump, keeping the rinsing hands-free. All paper towels are either burned or composted at the end of the day. The compost toilet itself has excellent ventilation due to it’s design.
We have increased our cleaning of key touchpoints, including the compost loo doors, seats, and handwashing area.
